My computer is not updating

If you don’t see any option to roll back here, this isn’t your problem.

If you’re within that 30 day period and you’d like to upgrade now, you can do so by deleting “Previous Windows installation(s)” with the Disk Cleanup application.

For example, if you're using Internet Explorer, check this Microsoft article to see how to download files.

If you didn’t see a File Download window, you might need to change the settings for your browser’s pop-up blocker. Windows Media Player plays the video and audio files on your PC.

You need Media Player to install i Cloud for Windows.

If you turned off Windows Media Features, or if your PC didn't come with Windows Media Player, i Cloud for Windows won't install.

To check if you’re within that 30 day period, head to Settings Recovery.

If you see a “Go back to Windows 7”, “Go back to Windows 8.1”, or “Go back to an earlier build” option here, you’re within that downgrade period.

You will be able to run the installation of your Windows Updates now. If you can see any DNS server IP addresses listed, write them down for future reference. TIP: It is also very important for you to keep you device drivers updated so as to eliminate the possibility of having buggy problem such as this one here. The second major update to Windows 10, version 1607, was officially released two weeks ago, on August 2.So why haven't the PCs in your home and office received the Anniversary Update yet?Devices that will receive it first are those that should, in theory, be best equipped to deal with it.There's no official word on how long it will take for the full population of Windows 10 PCs to receive the update, but if past performance is any indication it could take two months or more.

You won't receive any advance notice that the update is available; once it's ready to install, Windows Update will schedule a restart time.
